Speeding the Retirement Journey - a NARFE White Paper
I made my reservations for Springhill Suites, easily done using the venue phone number on the Conference page (Events/State/Region 9 Conferences). Don't be fooled by reservations sites that charge extra. Unfortunately, I can't bring my kitty, Lucky, with me - Springhill Suites is not pet friendly. So I have to find a Cat sitter for those two nights. But I am looking forward to the conference.
The agenda includes a presentation by NARFE's legislative Director, Jessica Klement on legislation of the 116th Congress. You will remember that Jessica Klement has been involved with legislative issues for several years and has kept all of us up to date with Congressional tinkering with our benefits. there will also be presentations on membership recruitment and retention, the NARFE Alzheimer's Research Program, NARFE's rebranding initiative, and the AMS - NARFE HQ new database initiative, along with other CAB issues.
It will be a full day and half of information. I hope to see you there!
If you look at our calendar, you will find that the National Legislative Conference is coming up in March. Have a look at NARFE Magazine for more information.
